I based my information on numerous stories in both Norwegian and international media, but should <\/em><g class=\"gr_ gr_292 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Punctuation replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"292\" data-gr-id=\"292\"><em>of course<\/em><\/g><em> have contacted the locals of Sommar\u00f8y directly before committing to help the BBC World Service cover this story. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haven&#8217;t we all wanted to just forget about <g class=\"gr_ gr_6 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"6\" data-gr-id=\"6\">time<\/g> once in a while, and do whatever we want, whenever we want? Well, in the Arctic Norwegian town of Sommar\u00f8y that is exactly what they are proposing to do during the summer when the sun is up 24 hours a day.
