The vast majority are killed inside collapsing building in developing countries where there\u2019s little investment in earthquake resistant architecture. So creating a cheap, fast and easy way to earthquake-proof those buildings <em>could<\/em> make an enormous difference. Well, researchers and the University of Sheffield in the UK believe they\u2019ve found a way to do just that.
