Set to rise in price - but will people drink less?

Now, it could soon be last orders for binge-drinking in the UK. Last week the government announced plans to introduce a minimum price on alcohol and a ban on cheap alcohol supermarket deals, to stop young people getting drunk and disorderly even before they go out on the town. But as Lars Bevanger now reports from Manchester, the government’s plans are not popular with the drinks industry and could even face legal challenges within the EU.
