The Arctic is facing multiple challenges, from rapid climate change to militarisation and a geopolitical battle for resources. No one feels this as keenly as the indigenous peoples who have lived in the far-flung places in the north longer than anyone. Earlier this week saw the latest clash between Sami reindeer herders and a mining company. This is my report from Tromsø in Arctic Norway for Inside Europe on Deutsche Welle Radio.
