Government support for Murdoch fades

Things are no longer going his way

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch flew in to London on Sunday trying to face off the growing crisis facing his media empire News Corporation and it’s UK arm News International. Mr Murdoch had hoped to secure a take-over deal last week to control Britain’s largest commercial TV group BSkyB. He closed down his phone hacking scandal-ridden tabloid News of the World to appease criticism of the deal, but now he might be loosing the support he once had from the British government.
