Women from Liberia and Yemen scooped the 2011 Peace Prize

This year’s Nobel Peace Prize celebrates women’s work for peace and human rights. It was awarded in Oslo on Friday to Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Liberian peace campaigner Leymah Gbowee and Yemeni human rights activist Tawakkul Karman.
