Want to be a Viking? Go study in Norway

They might have a bad reputation for sacking villages in Ireland or any place their longboats could reach, but the Vikings of Scandinavia were also successful farmers, ironsmiths and skilled navigators. Now young people in Norway once again have the chance to learn the skills of their forefathers — minus the raping an pillaging — at the world’s first government-funded college course in how to live like a 9th century Viking.
