Saving the Lemur Leaf Frog with Lucy from Manchester (10)

plf_graySomething bad is happening to the world’s frogs. Around 200 species have disappeared in recent decades, and many more are critically endangered. One of the root causes is the chytrid fungus, a parasite which is infecting frogs on a massive, global scale. Luckily many conservationists are fighting hard to save more of these amphibians from extinction. Now they’ve got the help of a 10 year old girl from Manchester in England to protect one of the world’s rarest frogs. Here’s my report for Pulse on Deutsche Welle Radio:
