Norway became of the first countries in the world to ratify the Paris treaty at a UN ceremony in New York in April. Like other signatories, the country must now cut its emissions to stop global temperatures rising by more than 2 degrees Celsius. So how will one of the world’s largest oil and gas producers manage to its emissions by 40 percent by 2030? Here’s my report for Living Planet on Deutsche Welle Radio:
